Jacqueline Odessa Hogg-Grandy, 73, of Little Rock, Arkansas departed this life November 28, 2025. She’s preceded in death by her parents: Jessie Hogg, III, Jamisy Mae Hogg; siblings: Billye Willis, Jessie Hogg, IV, Barbara Hogg, Broderick Hogg.

Jacqueline served as a Little Rock School District teacher for 46 years. She served students at Booker Jr. High, Henderson Jr. High, and Pulaski Heights Middle School, she taught reading and Social Studies setting critical background knowledge for her students. Her students would say “Ms. Hogg was hard but we always learned a lot”. Family and friends will miss her greatly.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband: Sammy Grandy; child: Jamison Grandy; granddaughter: Emma Rose Floyd; siblings: Jennifer Hogg, Judy Hogg, Jethro Charles Hogg, Lillian Bell, Benita Tarpley, Beretta Hogg; her nephew whom she raised J’Ron Oldham, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
