Robinson Mortuary

Yvonne Zanette McCool, Sunrise February 11, 1961 in Moro Arkansas; Sunset January 7, 2026, at St Vincent’s infirmary, at the age of 64 in Little Rock Arkansas.

Moved to Little Rock at Age 3, attended JC Cook elementary school in Wrightsville, and then attended Fuller Elementary in Sweet Home Arkansas, and Pulaski East Jr High; she then graduated from Wilbur D. Mills in 1979. She earned a BS degree in Computer Science at UALR. She was preceded in death by her father, Orie Stenhouse, who passed in 1990. She married Robert McCool on September 21, 1990, who passed in 2006.

Yvonne started working at Walmart through High School and college, and after graduation from college, you took a job at the UALR Department of Agriculture Extension Service, as a computer programmer, later advancing as Deputy Director of Information Technology. She remained there until her health failed, and she then opted for early retirement. She was an avid writer, and had created several fiction works, as a hobby; she was actively involved in Comicon conventions, and a music lover as well.

She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory as follows: Mother Janice Stenhouse who resides in Little Rock, and brother Reginald Stenhouse, who resides in Las Vegas, NV; her aunts Patricia Coleman-Anderson and Pinkie Coleman-Frye, and a host of other family members and friends.
