James Andrew Jefferson, age 78, of Little Rock, Arkansas, peacefully departed this life on March 21, 2026. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, James Wynne and Mattie Bell Jefferson, as well as his brother, Earnest Jefferson.

James leaves to cherish his memory his devoted daughters, Tammie Jefferson and Latasha Jefferson-Bailey; his step-son, Freeman Todd; and a special friend, Linda Todd. He is also survived by his brother, Leon Jefferson, and sister, Sylvia Papion. He will be lovingly remembered by his four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends whose lives he touched.
