Mitchell Underwood, 63, was born December 1, 1962 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Without question, Mitchell built life-long relationships with nearly everyone he encountered. To know him is to love him!

Mitchell accepted Christ at an early age, but upon rededication in 2019, he became a loyal and faithful member of Another Chance Church of NLR until his passing, under the leadership of his closest friend, Pastor Eric B. Crowder-Jones. Mitchell held fast to his faith and maintained his beliefs through every struggle and obstacle that he has endured. He was extremely devoted to his church and his pastor. He enjoyed sowing seeds and imparting words of encouragement to every person he came across. His life has been a true testament of love and redemption.

Mitchell Underwood leaves to cherish his memories 2-daughters: Detoria Roy & Shaquanna (Derico) Franklin; 2-brothers: Michael (Shermish) Underwood & Stanley (Vickie) Barnes; 1-sister: Myra Underwood; 5-grandchildren: Katelynn, Jordan, Kollin, Makinzley, & De’layah; his best friend: Donya Burnett; and special friend: Pastor Eric Crowder-Jones to carry on his love, life, and legacy!
