Hattie Caraway Degraffenreed Ridgle, 93, of Tucker, Arkansas, departed this life on January 27, 2026. Born on November 8, 1932, she was preceded in death by her husband, OD Ridgle, Sr.; her sons, Leonard and John Ridgle; grandsons Charles Cornice, Ray Finley, Roderick Jacobs, and Anthony Gibson; great-grandson Nevan Gibson; parents Jesse and Beatrice Degraffenreed; and siblings Emma Mason, Mable Williams, Jessie Mae Toney-Harrison, and Sylvester Jones, Sr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Shirley Lea-Lawson, Leara Summons (John), OD Ridgle, Jr., Roy Ridgle, Sr. (Savonya), Jeffery Ridgle, Sr., Bruce Ridgle, Sr., Kathryn Gibson (Andrew), and David Ridgle; her sister, Earnestine Scott; 33 grandchildren, 65 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Services are scheduled as follows: Family Hour: Friday, 5:00–6:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Central Missionary Baptist Church, 211 Joe T. Henslee Road, Tucker, Arkansas and Funeral Service: Saturday, 11:00 a.m. at Progressive Church, 9895 Hwy 165 W, Scott, Arkansas.
