Mother Samella Blood, 77, peacefully transitioned into the presence of the Lord from her home Saturday, September 21, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband of 58 beautiful years, Pastor Arthur L. Blood; her beloved sons: Elder Raymond (Alyce) Blood, Pastor Bryan E. Blood, and Rev. Rodney (Wanda)Cherry. Her grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy, Chasity B. Blood, Takia (Marcus) Stevenson, Carl (Kathrine) Blood, Kalimah Rogers, Kenneth (Yolanda) Sarvis, Samonte Blood, Alakiga Cherry, and Tabrina Allen. Lady Samella leaves behind to cherish her memories her sisters: Ms. Annie Sims, Ms. Pearl McCoy and Ms. Mary Freeman.
