Floyd “Butter” Wilson Beard
Floyd “Butter” Wilson Beard II 56 of North Little Rock, Arkansas departed this life on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. He was employed with the North Little Rock Parks and Recreation Program 23 years and a former employee of the North Little Rock School District.
Floyd was born August 11, 1970 to Floyd Wilson Beard, Sr. (deceased) and Martha Lee Dixon Beard in Detroit, Michigan.
His legacy will live on in the lives of his sons Jalen Marte Beard, Anton Lamont Beard, Sr., Andrew Lee Brooks III, his daughters, Madison Lee Beard, and Trinity Lagale Thomas and Eddie Withers who became like a son and a godfather to his children. His grandchildren: Jalen Marte Beard II, Anton Lamont Beard, Jr., Alani Leigh Beard, Aspen Janae Beard, and Adonnis Lee and Ace Wilson Beard.
His sisters Chasidy Beard and Dorothy Robinson and brothers Jimmy Posey and Chauncey Beard; two very special Aunts: Freda Williamson and Patricia “Pat” Ann Boyd.
