She’s preceded in death by her parents: Acie Cooksey, Sr. and Elnora Cooksey; siblings: Patsy Cooksey, Magnolia Phillips, Lucille Cooksey, Dorothy Mary Brown, Dorothy Falls, Phillip Cooksey, Sr., Billy Cooksey, Sr., Frank Cooksey, and Acie Cooksey, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter: Ronesia Watkins (Anthony); bonus children: Darlene Smith-McClendon, ZoAnn Smith, James E. Smith, Jr., Timothy A. Smith (Sharon); siblings: Ronnie Cooksey, Ruby Jean Cooksey, Carolyn Dixon, Edith Faye Cooksey-Abernathy, Joyce McDaniel (John), 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
