He is preceded in death by his daughter: Lillie Gantt Lyons; siblings: Clester Gantt, Stella Perkins, Caulde Gantt, Victoria Gantt Dobbins, Earnestine Gantt Brown and Hosie Gantt.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Gloria Ann Gantt (Smith), Luenetter Gantt (Bobo), Roosevelt Gantt Jr., Bobby Ray Gantt, Charles Gantt, Tony Ray Gantt, 30 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
