Betty Jean Goodwin
Betty Jean Goodwin, 80, of Little Rock, Arkansas departed this life August 11, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband: Raymond Goodwin; mother: Alberta Brown; and two sisters: Mary Lindsay and Clara Barton.
Betty was a beloved member of the First Baptist Church, surrounded by a community of strong, faithful women.
Her love for her family and those around her made her an angel. Her passing is deeply felt, and she will be missed.
She leaves to cherish her memory her daughter: Cassandra Goodwin, a sister: Mable Else ; two grandchildren: Braihanna and Damien Goodwin, 2 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Betty Goodwin Scholarship Foundation at Philander Smith University, established in her memory.
